The Reverend Stephen A. Green
The Reverend Stephen A. Green is the Senior Pastor of The Greater Allen AME Cathedral of New York, a global faith movement dedicated to transforming the world through the power of God’s Word.
He is the creator and host of the podcast “The Pastor’s Pod,” where he engages thought leaders and change agents on critical issues shaping society. From the pulpit to the public square, Pastor Green’s leadership embodies a ministry rooted in courage, faith, and hope, inspiring believers to build the beloved community.
Rev. Green holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, a Master of Divinity from The University of Chicago, and a Master of Sacred Theology from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York. He is currently pursuing doctoral studies at Boston University School of Theology.
He is married to his partner in love and liberation, Mrs. Braea Tilford Green, who serves as First Lady and leads ministry to women and girls.
Braea Tilford Green is the founder of Grow Lead Inspire (GLI), a global movement committed to empowering young women and girls.
Braea is a passionate community advocate and public speaker. She believes deeply in intentionality, striving daily to become a truer, more beautiful version of oneself. She encourages others to do the same through self-reflection and creative expression in whatever form it may take.
In 2018, Braea made history as the third Black woman to represent Kentucky within the Miss Universe Organization. During her tenure as Miss Kentucky USA, she used her platform to promote the advancement of women of color.
Braea is married to Reverend Stephen A. Green and serves alongside him in ministry as the First Lady of The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York.
